WRENCH LAMP ON-DTC P0731 - 4.2L AND 4R75E

ISSUE
Some 2005-2007 F-150 vehicles equipped with a 4.2L engine and 4R75E automatic transmission only, may exhibit a wrench light on, with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P0731 stored without vehicle driveability or transmission operational symptoms.

ACTION
Reprogram the powertrain control module (PCM) to the latest calibration using IDS release 50.5 or higher. This new calibration is not included on VCM 2007.7 DVD. Calibration files may also be obtained at the website.
