Coolant Pump - 4.6L (2V)

Removal and Installation
1. Drain the engine cooling system.
2. Remove the cooling fan.
3. Loosen the 4 coolant pump pulley bolts.
^ To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).

4. Remove the accessory drive belt.
5. Remove the bolts and the coolant pump pulley.
6. Remove the bolts and the coolant pump.
^ To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.). Remove and discard the O-ring seal.

8. Clean the O-ring seal mating surface with metal surface prep. Follow the directions on the packaging.
9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
^ Install a new O-ring seal and lubricate it with clean engine coolant.
