Normal Operation
The DSM communicates with the scan tool through the UBP communication network. Circuit 1906 (VT) provides the network connection to the DSM. The DSM shares the UBP network with the electronic automatic temperature control (EATC) module (if equipped), the vehicle security module (VSM) (if equipped), and the instrument cluster. Voltage for the DSM is provided by circuits 566 (DG) and 956 (OG/LG). Circuits 57 (BK) and 875 (BK/LB) provide ground.
