Normal Operation
The memory exterior mirrors are controlled by the driver seat module (DSM). The exterior mirror control switch is supplied 12 volts through circuit 956 (OG/LG) and is grounded through circuit 57 (BK). The exterior mirror control switch controls the LH exterior mirror by switching power and ground to the DSM through circuits 1476 (RD/OG), 1479 (DB/OG) and 1477 (YE/BK) and for the RH exterior mirror by switching power and ground to the DSM through circuits 1478 (DG/OG), 1475 (PK/OG) and 1477 (YE/BK). The DSM then applies power and ground to the LH exterior mirror through circuits 1487 (DB), 1486 (YE/LB), 1485 (RD), and 1484 (YE/RD) or on circuits 1483 (WH/PK), 1482 (PK), 1481 (DG) and 1480 (WH/LG) for the RH exterior mirror.

- Circuit 1475 (PK/OG) short to voltage, short to ground or open
- Circuit 1478 (DG/OG) short to voltage, short to ground or open
- Circuit 1477 (YE/BK) short to voltage, short to ground or open
- Circuit 1480 (WH/LG) short to voltage, short to ground or open
- Circuit 1481 (DG) short to voltage, short to ground or open
- Circuit 1482 (PK) short to voltage, short to ground or open
- Circuit 1483 (WH/PK) short to voltage, short to ground or open
- Circuit 1484 (YE/RD) short to voltage, short to ground or open
- Circuit 1485 (RD) short to voltage, short to ground or open
- Circuit 1486 (YE/LB) short to voltage, short to ground or open
