Test P: An Individual Reversing Lamp Is Inoperative

PINPOINT TEST P: AN INDIVIDUAL REVERSING LAMP IS INOPERATIVE

Normal Operation
When the transmission is placed in REVERSE (R), voltage is routed to the reversing lamps through circuit 140 (BK/PK). The reversing lamps are provided ground through circuit 57 (BK).

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- Bulb holder (non-cutaway vehicles)
- Rear lamp assembly (cutaway vehicles)
