PINPOINT TEST H: INCORRECT SPEEDOMETER INDICATION

Normal Operation
The vehicle speed information is provided by the output shaft speed sensor (OSS) to the PCM. The PCM provides the vehicle speed information to the instrument cluster (IC) over the communication network. If the instrument cluster (IC) fails to receive the speed input data from the PCM, the instrument cluster (IC) does not indicate any speed on the speedometer.

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- PCM axle ratio and tire size configuration
- OSS sensor concern
- PCM
- Instrument cluster (IC)
