Test E: An Individual Demand Lamp Is Inoperative
PINPOINT TEST E: AN INDIVIDUAL DEMAND LAMP IS INOPERATIVENormal Operation
During the demand lighting function, the instrument cluster (IC) provides a ground for the battery saver relay through circuit 1005 (VT/OG). The battery saver relay provides power to circuit 54 (LG/YE). Circuit 54 (LG/YE) provides power to each demand lamp switch and when activated, provides power to the selected demand lamp. The demand lamps are grounded through circuit 57 (BK).
This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- Lamp assembly
