Test G: All The Stoplamps Are Inoperative
PINPOINT TEST G: ALL THE STOPLAMPS ARE INOPERATIVENormal Operation
The stoplamp switch receives voltage from the central junction box (CJB) fuse 11 (15A) through circuit 10 (LG/RD). When the brake pedal is applied, the stoplamp switch routes voltage to the CJB fuse 39 (10A) through circuit 569 (DG). The CJB then routes the voltage to the high mounted stoplamp and the multifunction switch through circuit 511 (LG). The multifunction switch routes voltage to the rear stoplamps.
The rear stoplamps share a common ground through circuit 57 (BK).
This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Fuse
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- Stoplamp switch
- Multifunction switch
