Steering Linkage

Steering Linkage
The steering linkage system consists of the following components:
^ RH and LH outer tie-rod ends
^ Inner tie rod
^ RH and LH tie-rod adjusting sleeves
^ Sector shaft arm drag link
^ Sector shaft arm
^ Steering linkage damper

Steering linkage is the connection between the steering gear and the wheel spindles. This linkage includes adjustment sleeves that provide for vehicle alignment/toe settings. The steering linkage also includes a steering damper that stabilizes and reduces excessive steering linkage movement, which may be transmitted through the steering wheel during adverse driving and steering conditions.
