Steering Linkage

Steering Linkage

The steering linkage system consists of the following components:

- RH and LH outer tie-rod ends
- Inner tie rod
- RH and LH tie-rod adjusting sleeves
- Sector shaft arm drag link
- Sector shaft arm
- Steering linkage damper

Steering linkage is the connection between the steering gear and the wheel spindles. This linkage includes adjustment sleeves that provide for vehicle alignment/toe settings. The steering linkage also includes a steering damper that stabilizes and reduces excessive steering linkage movement, which may be transmitted through the steering wheel during adverse driving and steering conditions.
