Inspect
    Vehicle
      Recommended Multi-point Inspection
    Universal Joint, Drive/Propeller Shaft
      If equipped.
    Tie Rod End
      Inspect tie rod ends (lubricate if equipped with Zerk fittings)
    Steering and Suspension
      Inspect steering linkage, ball joints, suspension, tie-rod ends, driveshaft and U-joints; lubricate if equipped with grease fittings.
    Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve
      Inspect PCV valve for flow (3V engines)
    Exhaust System
      Inspect exhaust system and heat shields.
    Drive/Propeller Shaft
      If equipped.
    Cooling System
      Every 15,000 miles (24,000 km), 600 hours of engine operation or as indicated by the instrument cluster message center
    Brakes and Traction Control
      Inspect brake pads, shoes, rotors, drums, brake lines and hoses and parking brake system.
    Ball Joint
      If equipped.
Replace
    Wheel Bearing
      Replace wheel bearings (if non-sealed bearings)
    Oil Filter, Engine
    Fuel Filter
      Replace fuel filter (not required for Fusion, Milan, MKZ, Edge, MKX, Taurus X, Taurus, Focus, Sable, E-Series, Escape, Mariner, F-150, Flex, MKS, Expedition/Navigator (short wheel base only).
    Fluid Filter - A/T
      Replace automatic transmission fluid filter (except 6F50, AWF-21, FNR5 and TorqShift transmissions.)
    Fluid - Differential
      Replace front differential fluid. Replace rear axle lubricant on all rear wheel drive (RWD) vehicles.
    Fluid - A/T
      Replace automatic transmission/transaxle fluid (except TorqShift transmission).
    Filters
      Climate-controlled seat filter
    Engine Oil
      Change engine oil and filter.
    Drive Belt
      Replace drive belt(s) if not replaced in the last 100,000 miles.
    Coolant
      Replace Engine Coolant
    Air Filter Element
      Replace engine air filter (except Focus with PZEV engine).
Rotate
    Tires
      Rotate tires, inspect for wear, measure tread depth and inspect wheel ends for end play and noise. Vehicles with dual rear wheels should only rotate if unusual wear is noted. For vehicles with different front-to-rear tire pressures, the tire pressure must be adjusted and the tire pressure sensor training must be done.
