Removal and Installation

NOTE: Mark the position of the hood latch prior to removing the hood latch bolts to aid positioning during installation.

1. Remove the 2 hood latch bolts.
- To install, tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).

2. Disconnect the hood latch release cable from the hood latch and remove the latch.

3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Check the latch adjustment to make sure the latch was installed and aligned correctly.
