Seat Backrest - Rear, Crew Cab

Disassembly and Assembly

NOTE: For parts identification and location, refer to Seat - Exploded View, Rear, Crew Cab Seat - Exploded View, Rear, Crew Cab.

1. Remove the seat backrest. For additional information, refer to Seat Backrest - Rear, Crew Cab Seat Backrest - Rear, Crew Cab.

2. Remove the seat backrest cover. For additional information, refer to Seat Backrest Cover - Rear, Crew Cab Seat Backrest Cover - Rear, Crew Cab.

3. Remove the 2 bolts and backrest latch.
- To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).

4. If equipped, remove the heated seat system components.
- Disconnect and detach the backrest heater mat electrical connector.

- For 60 percent backrest, remove the heated seat module and bracket.
- Disconnect the 2 heated seat module electrical connectors.

- Remove the 2 screws, heated seat module and bracket.

- To install, tighten to 14 Nm (124 lb-in).

- Release the pin-type retainers and remove the wire harness.
- Note the wire harness routing for correct installation.

5. Remove the hog rings and foam pad from the backrest frame.

6. To assemble, reverse the disassembly procedure.
