Front Controls Interface Module (FCIM)









Removal and Installation

1. NOTE: Steering wheel shown removed for clarity.

Remove the instrument cluster finish panel.

1. Remove the 2 screws.

2. Remove the finish panel by pulling straight rearward.





2. Remove the lower screw from the center instrument panel finish panel.

1. Using a suitable tool such as a hook-shaped pick, remove the audio input jack bezel by prying rearward in order to gain access to the screw.

2. Remove the screw.





3. Remove the 2 upper screws from the lower center instrument panel finish panel.

1. Remove the rubber mat.

2. Remove the 2 screws.





4. NOTE: It is not necessary to completely remove the LH vertical trim band.

Rotate the LH vertical trim band away from the lower center instrument panel finish panel to disengage the overlapping tabs.





5. NOTE: It is not necessary to completely remove the RH vertical trim band.

Rotate the RH vertical trim band away from the lower center instrument panel finish panel to disengage the overlapping tabs.





6. Rotate the lower center instrument panel finish panel to disengage the overlapping tabs, and remove the finish panel.





7. Remove the 12 screws and the Front Controls Interface Module (FCIM).

8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
