Hood: Adjustments

Hood Alignment

1. Raise and support the hood.

2. Loosen the lower hood hinge bolts so the hood will move slightly.





3. Lower the hood and position the hood for correct and proper fit. For additional information, refer to Margins in Body and Frame / Specifications / Penal Gap Tolerances.

4. Tighten the hood hinge-to-body bolts.
- To install, tighten to 30 Nm (22 lb-ft).

5. Adjust the hood height using the adjustable hood bumpers until the hood fits flush with the fenders. Check the hood for correct latching and if necessary, adjust the hood latch.
