Exterior Mirror Cover

Removal and Installation

Trailer tow and aero mirrors

NOTE: The power folding mirrors may need to be synchronized anytime the mirrors are folded or unfolded without using the exterior mirror control switch, or if a new power folding mirror is installed. For additional information, refer to Exterior Mirror Motor Synchronization - Power Folding Programming and Relearning.

1. Remove the exterior mirror glass. For additional information, refer to Exterior Mirror Glass Exterior Mirror Glass.

Aero mirrors only

2. Remove the 4 exterior mirror lower cover screws.





3. Remove the exterior mirror upper and lower covers from the exterior mirror.
- Pull the exterior mirror upper and lower covers towards the front of the vehicle.





4. Release the exterior mirror cover retaining tabs.





5. Separate and remove the upper exterior mirror cover from the lower exterior mirror cover.

6. Release the exterior mirror cover retaining tabs.

7. Separate and remove the exterior mirror cover from the exterior mirror.

8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
