InspectVehicle
Check and top up fluid levels: brake, coolant recovery reservoir, fuel coolant recovery reservoir, manual and automatic transmission, power steering and window washer. Inspect tires for wear and check air pressure, including spare. Check exhaust system for leaks, damage, loose parts, and foreign material. Check that holes in the tail-pipe of the exhaust system are clear of debris; the holes/slots are functional. Check battery performance. Check operation of horn, exterior lamps, turn signals and hazard warning lights. Check radiator, coolers, heater and air conditioning hoses. Inspect windshield washer spray and wiper operation. Check windshield for cracks, chips and pitting. Inspect for oil and fluid leaks. Inspect engine air filter. Check shocks and struts and other suspension components for leaks and damage.
Universal Joint, Drive/Propeller Shaft
Inspect and lubricate U-joints.
Tie Rod End
Inspect and lubricate if equipped with Zerk fittings.
Fuel Cooler
Inspect fuel cooling system level, coolant strength and hoses.
Exhaust System
Inspect exhaust system and heat shields.
Brakes and Traction Control
Inspect brake pads/shoes/rotors/drums, brake lines and hoses, and parking brake system.
Ball Joint
Inspect and lubricate if equipped with zerk fittings.
Replace
Wheel Bearing
Replace front wheel bearing grease and grease seals on 4x2 wheel bearings (if not sealed).
Oil Filter, Engine
Replace engine oil every 5,000 mi or after 3 months or 200 hours of engine operation (which ever comes first).
Fuel Filter
Replace engine and frame mounted fuel filters. Replace fuel filter if using Special Operating Conditions I.
Fluid Filter - A/T
Change automatic transmission fluid filter on all vehicles equipped with the Torqshift transmission. Consult your dealer for particular requirements.

Engine Oil
Replace engine oil every 5,000 mi or after 3 months or 200 hours of engine operation (which ever comes first).
Drive Belt
Replace main accessory drive belt if equipped with dual alternators.
Rotate
Tires
Rotate tires, inspect for wear, measure tread depth and inspect wheel ends for end play and noise. Vehicles with dual rear wheels should only rotate if unusual wear is noted. For vehicles with different front-to-rear tire pressures, the tire pressure must be adjusted and the tire pressure sensor training must be done.
Flush
Coolant
Flush and replace every 60,000 miles (96,000 km) or 2400 hours of operation. Do not add Supplemental Coolant Additive.
