This article supersedes TSB 10-1-11 to update the vehicle model year coverage.
ISSUE
Some 2005-2011 F-Super Duty 250/350 4X4 vehicles may exhibit a banging/clunking noise and/or contacting the jounce bumpers. The condition can become more pronounced as the temperatures decrease within the range of 5 to -40 degrees F (-15 to -40 degrees C), and when driving over bumps on rough roads.
ACTION
Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition.

THIS IS INTENDED FOR USE ON VEHICLES OPERATED IN COLD WEATHER STATES (AK, CO, ID, IA, ME, MI, MN, MT, ND, NH, NY, SD, VT, WI, WY) AND CANADA.

Follow the table below to select the correct spring to install based on the vehicles front GAWR rating.
Follow the instructions in Workshop Manual, Section 204-01A.
