Seat - Rear, Crew Cab, Bench Seat

NOTE: For seat riser-to-floor bolt and nut torque specification and torque sequence, refer to the steps in this procedure.











Removal

1. Using an appropriate tool, push in the pin hole while pulling the safety belt tongue out of the safety belt buckle.





2. Remove the rear seat.
- Remove the riser-to-floor nuts.

- Remove and discard the riser-to-floor bolts.

- Remove the seat from the vehicle.
- Pull the safety belt buckles out from between the seat backrest and cushion.

Installation

NOTE: New bolts must be installed, do not reuse the bolts that were removed. The studs and nuts can be reused.

NOTE: Before installation, make sure the safety belt webbing is not twisted and the safety belts and buckles are accessible to the occupants.

1. Position the seat in the vehicle.

2. Install the seat retainers in the following sequence.

1. Install 2 new riser-to-floor bolts.
- Tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).

2. Install the 2 riser-to-floor nuts.
- Tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).

3. Route the safety belt buckles between the seat backrest and cushion.

4. Attach the center safety belt retractor tongue into the safety belt buckle.
