Circuit Deactivation Ignition Module (CDIM)









Removal

1. Remove the 2 pin-type retainers.

2. Remove the Circuit Deactivation Ignition Module (CDIM) and disconnect the electrical connector.

Installation

1. Connect the electrical connector.

2. Position the CDIM and install the 2 pin-type retainers.
- If the CDIM is being installed new as a dealership option, the PCM must be enabled. For additional information, refer to the Extended Idle Shutdown Initialization General Procedure in Computers and Control Systems.
