Rear Door: Adjustments

Door Alignment - Rear, 4-Door

All alignments

1. Remove the upper rear door striker cover.





2. Remove the upper rear door striker.

3. Remove the lower rear door striker.

In and out, up and down alignment

4. Remove the corner trim panel.

5. Loosen the 2 door hinge-to-body nuts and the 4 hinge-to-body bolts.





6. Align the door to specifications.

7. Tighten the 2 door hinge-to-body nuts and the 4 hinge-to-body bolts to 30 Nm (22 lb-ft).

Fore and aft alignment

8. Loosen the 4 door hinge-to-door bolts.





9. Align the door to specifications.

10. Tighten the 4 door hinge-to-door bolts to 30 Nm (22 lb-ft).

All alignments

11. Install the lower rear door striker.
- Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).

12. Install the upper rear door striker.
- Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).

13. Install the upper rear door striker cover.
