Sliding Door: Adjustments
Door Alignment - Sliding Door
Front, upper
1. Loosen the 2 body side door upper roller hinge bolts.
2. Move the body side door in or out to obtain a flush fit with the body panel.
3. Tighten the body side door upper roller hinge bolts.
Front, lower
4. Support the sliding body side door.
5. Remove the sliding lower latch trim cover.
1. Remove the screws.
2. Remove the sliding door lower latch trim cover.
6. Loosen the lower hinge reinforcement bolts.
7. Move the body side door lower roller forward or rearward to obtain a snug fit.
8. Using a plastic hammer, adjust the body side door lower roller to adjust the up or down position of the sliding body side door.
9. Tighten the body side door lower roller hinge bolts to 30 Nm (22 lb-ft).
10. Install the sliding lower latch trim cover.
Center, roller
11. Remove the sliding door trim panel. For additional information, refer to Interior Trim and Ornamentation Service and Repair.
12. Loosen the center roller bolts.
13. Move the body side door center roller up and down or fore and aft until the desired adjustment is obtained.
14. Tighten the center roller bolts to 30 Nm (22 lb-ft).
