Seat Cushion - Rear, Bucket

Removal and Installation

NOTE: For parts identification and locations, refer to Seat - Exploded View, Rear, Bucket Seat - Exploded View, Rear, Bucket.

1. Insert an appropriate tool into the slot and release the detachable safety belt anchor from the seat.





2. Remove the seat.
- Pull the seat latch release handle, slide the seat to the right and disengage from the seat latch striker.





3. For RH seat, remove the bolt and detachable safety belt anchor.
- To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).

- Remove the locator spacer.
- Note spacer position for correct installation.

4. For LH seat remove the 3 bolts and lower anchors and tethers for children bracket.
- Release the 2 lower J-clips and remove the lower anchors and tethers for children bracket.

- To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).

5. Remove the 4 seat track nuts and seat pedestal.
- To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).

6. If equipped, remove the 3 screws and LH cushion side shield.

7. Remove the 3 screws and RH cushion side shield.

8. Remove the 4 cushion frame bolts.
- For RH seat, position the seat track as needed for bolt access.

- To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).

9. Separate and remove the cushion assembly.

10. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
