Cruise Control Deactivator Switch
Removal
1. NOTICE: Brake fluid is harmful to painted and plastic surfaces. If brake fluid is spilled onto a painted or plastic surface, immediately wash it with water.
NOTE: Make sure the master cylinder reservoir cap is secure before carrying out this procedure.
NOTE: Do not allow any foreign matter to enter the master cylinder port once the deactivator switch is removed.
Remove the cruise control deactivator switch.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
Installation
1. NOTICE: Do not allow brake fluid to contact the electrical connector. Failure to follow this instruction may result in damage to the electrical connector or wiring.
Install the cruise control deactivator switch.
- Add a few drops of brake fluid to the fluid port on the threaded side of the switch before installing it.
- Tighten to 18 Nm (159 lb-in).
- Connect the electrical connector.
2. Check the master cylinder fluid level and adjust as necessary.
