Modem - Antenna









Removal

NOTE: For vehicles with an in-dash computer, the customer must contact the internet service provider to re-activate the account after the modem-antenna has been replaced. The account must be re-activated before internet services can operate correctly.

1. Turn the ignition to OFF.

2. Remove the in-dash computer. For additional information, refer to In-Dash Computer In-Dash Computer.

3. Remove the modem-antenna screw and the lower bracket.

4. Remove the modem-antenna.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.

- Rotate the modem-antenna behind the instrument panel bracket and remove it.





Installation

1. Position the modem-antenna and the bracket, and install the screw.
- Connect the electrical connector.

2. Install the in-dash computer. For additional information, refer to In-Dash Computer In-Dash Computer.

3. For vehicles with Crew Chief, initialize the modem-antenna.

1. Wait 5 minutes after the modem-antenna is installed.

2. Turn the ignition to RUN.

3. Wait 10 seconds.

4. Start the vehicle and run the engine for 30 seconds.

5. Turn the ignition to OFF.
