Seat Track - Rear, Bucket

Removal and Installation

NOTE: For parts identification and locations, refer to Seat - Exploded View, Rear, Bucket Seat - Exploded View, Rear, Bucket.

1. Insert an appropriate tool into the slot and release the detachable safety belt anchor from the seat.





2. Remove the seat.
- Pull the seat latch release handle, slide the seat to the right and disengage from the seat latch striker.





3. Remove the 4 seat track nuts and seat pedestal.
- Position the seat track as needed to access the bolts.

- To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).

- For installation, make sure the LH and RH seat track rails are aligned evenly.

4. Detach the linkage from the seat track release lever.
- Slide back the retainer spring and unhook the linkage.





5. Remove the 3 screws and RH side shield.

6. Remove the 3 screws and LH cushion side shield.

7. Remove the backrest pivot bolt.
- To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).

8. Remove the 2 recliner bolts and backrest.
- To install, tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).

9. Remove the 2 cushion frame bolts and RH seat track rail.
- To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).

10. Remove the 2 cushion frame bolts and LH seat track rail.
- To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).

11. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
