Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe
Removal and Installation
NOTICE: Do not disconnect the Air Cleaner (ACL) outlet pipe from the ACL (Air Cleaner) cover. This is to protect the integrity of the hydrocarbon trap.
1. Disconnect the crankcase vent tube from the ACL (Air Cleaner) outlet pipe.
2. Disconnect the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor electrical connector.
3. Release the 2 ACL (Air Cleaner) cover clamps.
4. Loosen the ACL (Air Cleaner) outlet pipe-to-Throttle Body (TB) clamp and remove the ACL (Air Cleaner) outlet pipe and ACL (Air Cleaner) cover assembly.
- To install, tighten to 4 Nm (35 lb-in).
5. NOTE: The ACL (Air Cleaner) outlet pipe should be securely sealed to prevent unmetered air from entering the engine.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
