Power Running Board (PRB)









Removal and Installation

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.

2. NOTE: If the Power Running Board (PRB) cannot be extracted, extend the running board by hand.
Extend the PRB (Power Running Board).


3. Disconnect the PRB (Power Running Board) electrical connector.

NOTICE: The following steps require an assistant. Failure to follow this instruction may result in damage to the vehicle.

4. Remove the PRB (Power Running Board) assembly front bracket upper bolts.
- To install, tighten to 22 Nm (16 lb-ft).


5. Remove the PRB (Power Running Board) assembly front bracket lower bolts.
- To install, tighten to 22 Nm (16 lb-ft).


6. Remove the PRB (Power Running Board) assembly rear bracket upper bolts.
- To install, tighten to 22 Nm (16 lb-ft).


7. Remove the PRB (Power Running Board) assembly rear bracket lower bolts.
- To install, tighten to 22 Nm (16 lb-ft).


8. Remove the PRB (Power Running Board) assembly.

9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
