The clutch engage switch detects in-gear condition and sends a signal to the electronic control assembly. Signal from the clutch engage switch affects, air/fuel ratio, engine idle speed and ignition timing (turbocharged engine). The clutch engage switch is mounted at the clutch pedal support assembly, Fig. 5.
