Clutch Switch: Description and Operation

Clutch Engagement Switch (CES):

The Clutch Engagement Switch (CES) detects when the clutch is engaged and sends an input signal to the Electronic Control Assembly (ECA). The ECA uses this input to determine engine load and adjusts air/fuel mixture, idle speed, and ignition timing.
