Fuel Tank Draining

WARNING: Do not smoke, carry lighted tobacco or an open flame of any type when working on or near any fuel-related component. Highly flammable mixtures are always present and may be ignited, resulting in possible personal injury.

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Perform fuel pressure release procedure. Service and Repair
3. Partially lower fuel tank.
4. Insert Fuel Tanker Adapter Hose 164-R3206, or equivalent, into filler pipe opening of fuel tank.
5. remove fuel from tank using Fuel Storage Tanker 164-R3201, or equivalent.
