Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview
Visual Inspection Chart:
1. Verify customer's original concern by operating anti-lock brakes to duplicate concern.
2. Inspect to determine whether problem is mechanical or electrical.
3. If inspection reveals an obvious concern that is readily serviced, correct the condition before continuing.
4. If concern remains after inspection, use Rotunda New Generation STAR (NGS) tester, or equivalent, to retrieve Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes
