D: Engine Will Not Crank

This vehicle can also be equipped with a Passive Vehicle Protection System (PATS). If the vehicle cranks for 1 second and then stops, refer to Passive System for testing procedures for a no start condition.

The Active anti-theft alarm control system cuts all power to the starter relay. Pinpoint Test D is only for a vehicle that does not crank at all.
