Component Tests and General Diagnostics

Fluid Level in Reservoir Test:

- Place absorbent cloth below the reservoir filler plug.





- Remove the filler plug and check the fluid level. It should be level with the bottom of the filler plug hole. If fluid appears excessively low, check for leaks or restrictions in the hydraulic lines, loose or broken fittings, and/or damaged cylinders. If the system is faulty, service or replace as necessary and bleed the system as described in Service and Repair.
