QT5 Perform ABS Trouble Code Retrieval

NOTE: DTCs may be retrieved by using Rotunda Super Star II Tester 007-0041B or equivalent or by using ABS indicator lamp. If using Super Star II, connect as outlined.

- Ignition switch OFF.

Connector:

- Jumper Pin K of the ABS diagnostic connector to ground.

- Key ON.

- Observe the anti-lock warning lamp.

- Does anti-lock brake warning lamp flash?

NOTE: The DTC will begin to flash immediately without introduction and flash only once. Ignition switch cycling can repeat DTCs if numbers are missed, as long as vehicle has not been driven.

YES -- Record code(s). Go to the Diagnostic Trouble Code Chart and perform Pinpoint Test specified for first code retrieved. After all DTCs have been retrieved, remove Super Star II. Cycle ignition switch ON/OFF. Start vehicle and drive to more than 24 km/h (15 mph) to erase stored DTCs. Diagnostic Trouble Code Descriptions

NO -- Go to Pinpoint Test E. E Motor and Motor Relay

NOTE: After repairs are completed and all DTCs erased, perform Quick Test to verify that all DTCs have been erased.
