Cooling System: Description and Operation
This system consists of a dual-speed fan, operating only when ignition switch is in RUN position. Cooling fan is controlled during vehicle operation by the Constant Control Relay Module (CCRM) and Powertrain Control Module (PCM).The fan should operate when coolant temperature reaches 221°F, or with air conditioning ON and vehicle speed below 43 mph. Fan will continue to run until coolant temperature drops to 200°F, or vehicle speed reaches at least 48 mph.
