Cooling System: Service and Repair

1. Fill radiator completely full, then install radiator cap.
2. Fill coolant reservoir to full cold mark.
3. Set heater control to full hot, high fan and set controls so air vents from dash vents.
4. Start and run vehicle until fully warmed up while watching water temperature gauge:
a. If system is functioning properly temperature will indicate normal and hot air will be felt at dash outlets.
b. If system is incorrect , temperature gauge will not read and/or no hot air will be felt at dash vents.
5. If system is incorrect, allow engine to cool, then repeat procedure.
6. If system is correct, allow engine to cool, then fill coolant reservoir to full cold mark if necessary.
