Air Cleaner Housing: Testing and Inspection

The engine Air Cleaner (ACL) may be either thoroughly wiped clean with a dry clean cloth or may be washed with soap and water after it is removed from the vehicle. The ACL must be completely dry and clean before installation. Inspect the for any damage or distortion and replace the ACL if it is defective.
