Power Steering Pressure Switch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the Power Steering Pressure (PSP) switch electrical connector.
2. Remove the power steering pressure switch.

INSTALLATION

NOTE: Install a new O-ring and lubricate it with Motorcraft Mercon(R) Multi-Purpose Automatic Transmission Fluid XT-2-QDX or equivalent.

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
2. Tighten the PSP switch to 17-23 Nm (12-17 ft lb).
