Fuel Gauge Sender: Testing and Inspection

1. Remove fuel pump/fuel gauge sender from vehicle.

Fuel Pump Terminals.:

2. Measure resistance between terminals "A" and "D."

Fuel Pump Float Resistance Measurement.:

3. Adjust float to positions shown.
4. If resistances are not as specified, replace sending unit. If resistances are as specified, refer to pinpoint test. Pinpoint Tests
