Inertia Fuel Shutoff Switch: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

Inertia Fuel Shutoff (IFS) Switch:

2. Pull away the luggage compartment floor cover from the left rear corner.
3. Remove the Inertia Fuel Shutoff (IFS) switch bracket bolt.
4. Lift the IFS switch and bracket out of the left rear quarter panel cavity.
5. Disconnect the IFS switch electrical connector.
6. Disconnect the bolts from the switch to the bracket.
7. Remove the IFS switch.
8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
