Brake Light Switch: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable and disconnect wires at switch connector.

Stop Lamp Switch Replacement:

2. Remove hairpin retainer and slide stop light switch, pushrod, nylon washers and bushings away from brake pedal, and remove switch.
3. Reverse procedure to install.
