Ignition Cable: Description and Operation

PURPOSE
The spark plug wires connect the ignition coil pack to the spark plugs, allowing high voltage to flow to the spark plugs.

CONSTRUCTION
The ignition wires have an internal resistance to suppress radio static and to eliminate static that may interfere with sensitive computer components.
