RADIO - TAPE MAY FAIL TO EJECT FROM RADIO - PREMIUM CASSETTE RADIO ONLY

1995-96 COUGAR

ISSUE:
The tape may fail to eject from the premium cassette radio on some vehicles. This may be caused by the radio chassis binding on the wiring harness behind the radio.

ACTION:
Remove the radio, and with the wiring still connected, rotate the radio 360 degrees clockwise and reinstall the radio. If binding is still evident during installation, repeat the procedure. Rotating the radio should eliminate binding by the radio chassis or the wiring harness.
