Wiper Switch: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Tilt column to lowest position and remove key release lever.
3. Remove ignition switch lock cylinder.
4. Remove steering column upper and lower shrouds.
5. Remove screws retaining multi-function switch, then gently pull switch out of casting.
6. Disconnect wiring connectors.
7. Reverse procedure to install. Torque retaining screws to 18-26 in lb.
