Disc Brake System: Adjustments

FRONT - The front brakes are automatically self adjusting. Remember to pump the brake pedal before moving the vehicle after servicing the front brakes.

REAR - The rear brakes are adjusted through periodic use of the parking brake. It is important that the customer be made aware of this. If the park brake is not used periodically, the performance of the rear brakes will decline and may cause premature front brake wear out or failure. Remember to pump the brake pedal and apply and release the park brake two or more times before moving the vehicle after servicing the rear brakes.
