Service Notes

The A/C evaporator core orifice should be replaced whenever an A/C compressor is replaced for lack of performance (internal damage).

The A/C evaporator core orifice, located in the condenser to evaporator tube, cannot be serviced in detail as a component of the line. If replacement is necessary, follow the procedure for removal and installation for A/C Hose/Line.

An orifice tube replacement service kit may be used as an optional service procedure.
