Cruise Control Servo Cable: Service and Repair

REMOVAL







1. Remove the speed control cable end from the accelerator pedal shaft lever by squeezing the tabs together and pulling the speed control cable through.
2. Remove the speed control cable from the bulkhead by squeezing the tabs together and pushing the speed control cable through.







3. Remove the speed control cable from the speed control servo by pushing down the speed control cable cap locking arm and rotating the speed control cable cap counterclockwise.







4. Remove the speed control cable ball slug from the speed control servo pulley. Gently push the speed control cable ball slug past the retaining spring using a small screwdriver.

INSTALLATION

To install the speed control cable. Reverse the removal procedure.
