Register

NOTE: The LH A/C registers are located in the instrument panel finish panels. The RH A/C registers are located below the passenger side air bag module in the instrument panel.

RH

NOTE: RH A/C register barrels can be replaced without removing the A/C register.





Removal
1. Remove RH A/C evaporator register duct.
2. Remove two screws and A/C register from rear of instrument panel.

Installation
1. Install A/C register into the rear of instrument panel and tighten the two screws.
2. Install RH A/C evaporator register duct.





LH-WITHOUT REAR PASSENGER A/C REGISTERS
Removal
1. Remove integrated control panel.
2. Remove four screws, disengage two snap-in tabs and remove center instrument panel finish panel from instrument panel.





3. Disengage three snap-in tabs and remove LH instrument panel finish panel from instrument panel.








4. Remove four screws, disengage four snap-in tabs and remove cluster opening instrument panel finish panel.
5. Remove retaining screws and A/C register from rear of cluster opening instrument panel finish panel.

Installation
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.








LH-WITH REAR PASSENGER A/C REGISTERS
Removal
1. Remove two screws, disengage four snap-in tabs and remove cluster opening instrument panel finish panel.
2. Remove retaining screws and A/C register from rear of cluster opening instrument panel finish panel.

Installation
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.





REAR
Removal
1. Remove barrel assemblies.
2. Disengage lock tabs and remove register housing from console panel.

Installation
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.





LOUVERS
Removal
RH and rear A/C register louvers can be removed without removing the A/C register.
1. Remove all A/C register barrel assemblies by flexing until pivot pin disengages from side of A/C register housing.

Installation
1. Install new barrel assembly into A/C register opening by engaging pivot pin in side of A/C register.
