EGR Tube: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove intake air system.
2. Disconnect EGR backpressure transducer hoses from EGR valve to exhaust manifold tube.
3. Disconnect EGR valve to exhaust manifold tube at EGR valve and EGR valve tube to manifold connector.

INSTALLATION
1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
2. Tighten the nut retaining EGR valve to exhaust manifold tube to EGR valve and EGR valve tube to manifold connector to 35-45 Nm (26-33 lb-ft).
